Seven things you might not know about me:

1. I learned to sew around age 6. My mother always made my costumes for halloween and was notorious for running late so at 6 she decided to have me help finish my costume because it was late and she also had to make my baby brothers! (It was an AWESOME T-Rex costume.)
2. I go to Wyoming every spring to snowboard and it really is enough of a vacation to last all year. I wouldn't trade that vacation for anything, in fact i might have to turn down a job offer for it this year. Call me crazy - but you cannot compromise on happiness.
3. Ironically, even with all of my girlie hobbies (forgive the generalization there if you will), I am a tomboy at heart. Ask anyone I know - I am surrounded by boys at any hour of the day or night. I live with 5 of them! But I do have a close circle of girls to go dancing with and wear my red liptstick with. :)
4. I am incapable of staying organized.
5. My BF and I have been together for almost 7 years now, crazy to think we started dating in highschool and he is about to finish his Masters Degree!
6. I am one of the most loyal people you will ever meet but on that same note - I am childish in that I hold a grudge like no other.
7. I haven't had a proper smile since I lost my first tooth. I am on the road to one though! Getting teeth implants and braces, probably less than a year left in treatment!

2. Rostitchery: I love that she is teaching her daughter to sew and she is the first blog I ever 'followed' its so refreshing!

4. EmilyKate: Her freaky Ceramics column is hilarious and right up my ally.
5. Cultivating home: Thrifty, sewing, family. What else is there? Oh a wonderful soundtrack... :)
6. Fashion my Legs: I love tights and this blog is all about tights.
7. Evil HR Lady: Hilarious and Helpful, this blog is helping me prepare for an actual job.
